Join us Saturday, April 27th for Rotarians At Work at Bicentennial Park and Riverside Drive from 8am to noon. We do this every year as part of KTMB's annual (14th!) Great Community Cleanup.

We ask you to donate your time and energy to the Rotary Club of Reno's project in the park and along Riverside Drive to maintain the gardens and improve the experience for our fellow Renoites and visitors to our area.

This year we'll week, prune, dig up and re-plant bulbs from the Giniver sculpture, before it is replaced and rock is placed in the big surround. Bring gloves, hats, sunscreen and hand tools. We'll supply water, tools, snacks and directions.

The river is running extremely high, fast and cold. There was a rescue and also a fatality in the Truckee River this past weekend. Please strongly remind all of our volunteers to stay away from the edge of the river and to be especially vigilant if they have children working with them.  We will supply some orange vests to each river site and suggest that children wear these to make them more visible.

Thanks to Christine from the Parks Department, a lovely person who raked up all the leaves, so we don't have to do it!

Please, find me (Debe...say DB) for instructions and check in.

Bring your friends and get ready to enjoy sunshine and fellowship while we make our city just a little bit more beautiful.

Blessings,

Debe
