2011 Grand Opening of the Adventure Skills Bike Park

Inspired by the Sales and Hewitt families' support of Gold Rush Cycling, the grand opening of the Adventure Skills Bike Park took place 17th August 2011.
We were junior partners compared to North Cariboo Community Futures and Quesnel Sunrise 2000 Rotary, but we were proud to be involved in the funding of the Park now operating behind Quesnel & District Recreation Centre.
Holding the banner and entrusted with scissors were Greg Lawrence, Laurey-Anne Roodenburg (City of Quesnel and Sunrise Rotary), Lori Sales, John Massier (CRD), Donna Jacobsen and Carol Pitkin (Sunrise Rotary), and 2011-12 Club President Bev Haluschak.
