Much needed lawn control

BCES moved into the old Quesnel Lawn Bowling premise in West Fraser Timber Park not long ago and the old bowling green grass was due a cut. The task pretty much finished off their veteran lawnmower so they asked us to help them purchase a new one, along with a new weed-eater, too.
Maia Blair and summer student Lizzy Masson happily received our Grant cheque for $950 at our lunchtime meeting of June 18th. Such was Mya’s shopping skills that BCES had funds left over to put towards some other premises renovation supplies.
