Shaun explained that the Metlakatla Development Corporation is the governance arm, and is responsible for Board policies.Business entities are, Gat Leedm Logistics, Grassy Bay Services, Coastal Training Centre, Metlakatla Ferry Service, North Co Corp Ferry Service, Tidal Coast CT Terminals, Coastal Business Resource Centre and the Elders Housing on the old King Edward school site.
There are 157 direct jobs - 76% of which are permanent. They also donate to community both with volunteer hours and monetary donations totalling about $63,000 to everything from basketball to Relay for Life.
