Prince Rupert students Alex Ramo, Rotary exchange student from Madrid, Spain (grade 11), Jess Mokrzychi, outgoing Rotary exchange student who is leaving for Brazil in August (grade 12), Olivia Woodworth (grade 10) and Jenny Nguyen (grade 11) shared pictures and memories of their weekend together with the other 103 students from around the province.
Some of the highlights of the weekend included testing their skills in a high ropes circuit, getting involved in several Service Above Self projects, showing some of their many talents at the Talent Show, singing songs around the bonfire in the evenings, competing at the RYLA Olympics, creating and participating in a flash mob on the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery. 120 people had a weekend they will not ever forget.
It was a pleasure to listen to these four young people who are full of energy, excitement and passion ... wanting to make a difference.
