Hound Song Brewing Company
Feb. 08, 2023
Travis and his wife, Raven, opened Hound Song Brewing Company in downtown Columbus in November of 2020. The brewery and taproom occupy the 8,000 square ft. Harbert's Garage and features 22 beer taps, a full kitchen focusing on fresh and delicious pub grub, and live music most weekends throughout the year. Although Travis was born and raised in Weimar, he met his beautiful wife, Raven, in Fort Collins, CO after he moved there in 2014. Growing up in Colorado, Raven always loved the outdoors, and the two additionally had the shared interest of craft beer, which was always a treat after their outdoor explorations together. Raven bought Travis his first homebrew kit for Christmas in 2014, and Travis never looked back. Their hobby eventually grew into a home brewery that was regularly churning out delicious beer, much to their neighbors' delight! After deciding to take their hobby to the next level, Travis attended brewing school at the American Brewer's Guild in 2018. The couple set their sights on Colorado County as the home for their brewery in mid 2019, and moved back to Travis' home in early 2020 to begin restoring the historic Harbert's Garage. The business has become a labor of love for the couple, as well as a hub in downtown Columbus, and they are excited to share more about themselves and Hound Song Brewing Company! |
