Jul 06, 2017 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM
Our Club will prepare and serve lunch at RYLA Camp on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at McKinney Roughs Nature Park in Bastrop. Our Club will sponsor four campers from Jarrell High School this year. This is a great Rotary Service Project and provides an excellent chance to participate in one of our Club's many activities that support the youth in our community and area. VERY IMPORTANT: All volunteers MUST complete the 2017 Volunteer Form. The form is available online on the District 5870 website (or, just click HERE). It takes less than two minutes to complete. Meal preparation will be coordinated by Chef Heidi this year (Chris and Angel Martinez did it for many years, but they won't be there this time). Volunteers need to arrive at the Camp no later than 9:30 am to work. Remember, the "background check" form must be processed by District 5870 before you can volunteer (which means no last-minute signups). Submit the form NOW if you are considering participation. You can always cancel at the the last minute, if necessary, but you can't participate without the required paperwork. |
