Mid-Winter Meeting for all District 5040 Youth Exchange Students.

January 22-24 

All the Exchange Students will be coming to Prince George for their mid-winter meeting.  On Friday, January 22, the Prince George Cougars are showcasing the students at the Cougars game (against Kamloops).  Everyone is invited to take part in this event.  Ticket prices will be reduced for this evening.  Ages 0-18 the ticket price is $12.85 and for over 18 the price is $17.58.  These are discounted prices and it includes a voucher for popcorn.  This is a great opportunity to meet these wonderful young people from all over the world.  If you know someone who may want to go on an exchange, this is the ideal time to talk to the students or the District 5040 Committee members. On Saturday, January 23 there will be a Cross Country Skiing event at Otway followed by a potluck dinner. Again, it is an excellent opportunity to meet the exchange students.  We have a great bunch this year and they are very friendly and their English should be good.
