Sunday the 20th of September, Rotarians President Bob, President Elect Bob, Sergeant of Arms George, Lorne Calder & Kris Zmudzinski spent a fabulous day at the Ramada hotel with 12 other people in the Rotary Leadership Institutes Part 111. The Leadership program's purpose is to help future club leaders prepare for their club and community leadership role through a quality training and educational experience.

We learned more about International Service and some ideas of ways of bringing international service to our club; Public Speaking tips and ideas with some do's and don'ts and preparing for; Programs of Rotary such as the many student programs and shared ways to make them better represented; Creative Service which made us look into our present projects and fundraisers and whether they still work or if there are others that we should be looking at; Public Relations dealing with the planning and execution of effective public relations with press releases from Rotary International that can be incorporated in local media; Leadership Best Practices of effective Rotary clubs and how to use the Club Leadership Plan.

Lots of sharing of ideas and laughing made the day fly by. A recommended to all serious Rotarians to learn more about the fantastic organization they belong to...
