The charter night was a rousing success attended by about 150 Rotarians and guests. The lobster was delicious and of course Goode's Catering was good... The entertainment supplied by Dawn Beaudreau and her students was first class if I do say so myself (my daughter Carly was one of the singers).

The door prize was by ticket sales. The lucky winner George Stedeford won a donation to the Rotary Foundation in the amount of $1,310. George now has his first Paul Harris Fellow and hopefully the beggining of many more. Congratulations George. By the way he helped out in preparing $10 strips of tickets for me so I guess he was well rewarded for his act of servitude.... Thanks to all who helped make this event a success; Norm Gregson, Bob Knechtel, Helga Knechtel, Phil Asquith and a me and my sidekick ticket seller Mel Monkman.
