Health-Care Auxiliary moves to new location

Ian Burke, President of Powell River Health Care Auxiliary, gave us a history of the auxiliary its goals and projects and where it is headed for the future when he was our program speaker on February 3. There are 228 members and they raise approximately $250,000 each year for our community. The health-care auxiliary is moving its thrift shop next door to expanded premises and Ian invited Rotarians to come and see the new facility during a grand opening on February 20. It is located in the same strip mall as Scotia Bank.
