Read about the spring matching campaign for donations to the Rotary Foundation-SHARE fund.
By this time, you should have received a message from Rich Kaye about our “District 5870 James “Jim” Robinson Memorial Match Drive” running from March 1st thru April 30th.
Here’s what Rich says about this match:
"Using Rotary Foundation Recognition Points generously donated by district Rotarians, we will match contributions of new cash made to the Annual Fund-SHARE on a 1-to-1 basis in amounts of $250 to $500 for any active Rotarian in District 5870 who is not yet a Paul Harris Fellow +8.”
These matches will be limited to one per donor and will be processed on a first-come, first served basis until April 30, or the match pool is exhausted, whichever comes first. Match requests received prior to March 1 will not be accepted.”
Our Temple Club will have our own matching campaign to coincide with the district campaign. We want you to be informed so that you get double matching – from your club and your district.
Our club will match dollar for dollar up to $250.00. As you can see, the district will match contributions of $250.00 to $500.00 with points. Both cash and points count toward your Paul Harris standings but only the cash portion counts toward your Major Donor Status.
This is a good way to earn your first or next Paul Harris Fellow level for a contribution of only $250.00:
$250.00 Member Donation
$250.00 Club Match
500 points match

1000 needed for the Paul Harris Fellow level
Even if you are a Paul Harris Fellow +8, your contribution along with our match still gives you an additional $500.00 on your account.
Ways to contribute: Cash to Richard, check payable to the Rotary Foundation given to Richard, Tami can bill or put it on a credit card, direct payment on MYRotary to the Annual Fund-SHARE but please advise Richard that you did so.
Remember, a portion of any funds our club contributes to the Annual Fund-SHARE comes back to our club in three years for local projects such as our previous recent project of college visits or this year’s project of Little Libraries.
If you are a new member of our club and want to know more about Paul Harris Fellows and this matching campaign, please take the time to visit with me at any meeting.
