Thank you to all our sponsors, players, volunteers, Flatonia High School Interact Club, Rotarians and the Flatonia Golf Association for making it a huge success.”

Rotary Clubs across the globe exist to help people, both worldwide and, locally, in our community. The Rotary Club of Flatonia is helping new leaders to emerge and increasing quality of life for many of its residents. The Early Act First Knight program, sponsored by the Flatonia Rotary Club, provides recognition for young people in the Flatonia Elementary School who display exemplary character.  Scholarships are awarded annually for Flatonia High School seniors, and the Interact Club, a community service organization at the high school, is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Flatonia.  In addition, leaders are recognized at the high school level through the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA), which includes scholarships, that are provided for the RYLA Leadership Development Camp.  Our annual USS Lexington Heritage Pride Project connects  high school juniors, who take American History, with our patriotic military past. Rotary volunteers are also out in the community spending many hours planting trees, cleaning up parks and other areas, assisting Meals on Wheels to deliver meals to homes, and providing the beautiful flags, which are displayed in town and in yards on patriotic holidays.  100% of funds raised at the Golf Tournament will go toward these projects and others like them.
