David - Heart of the Matter tickets are SOLD OUT. He needs your ticket stubs and money ASAP!
Nick - Adventures in Tourism is coming up and we are sending one student, contact Nick for more information.
Kathy - Heart of the Matter prizes must be given to Kathy ASAP. Contact her about help with wrapping them. Last minute paperwork get to Aman for recording and data entry. Send Monica your requests for sitting arrangements ASAP.
Gloria - District Conference will be fabulous! Lizz has a potential candidate for the Rotary Peace Scholarship and Gloria has potential candidate as well who is Brady Fox our guest speaker a couple of weeks back. South America cruise was fantastic, but missed us enough to come back!
Gord - Rotary World Help Network does container loading Saturdays (check Club Bulletin for details) for delivery to all over the world.
Roy - Hello Doug!! Also Roy needs volunteers for next Friday morning to decorate for Heart of the Matter and also some burly people to help bring things down to main hall.
Bob - Presents Paul Harris to Alana who is a Paul Harris Fellow x5...congratulations, great work!! Also to Monica who is a Paul Harris Fellow x8. Great work!!
Monica - Good news! Monica's sister does not have early onset Alzheimer's!
Nick - Foundation dinner was less lousy than it normally is! Good food and best Oh Canada in awhile for today's meeting
Roy - Lowe's bought Rona
Kathy - Followed up with Nick's comment on foundation dinner...was impressed with theme and reminded of how proud we should all be that Heart of the Matter is such a well-oiled machine. She appreciated being on receiving end of an event for once. Bob said of the foundation dinner that Kathy is not always the most adventurous when it comes to food, but mentioned that Kathy had plate of food that she couldn't say what it was but actually loved it all! Bala Naidoo took on role as entertainer and talked for over 2 hours as MC
Marie - Volunteered for Toque Day selling Toques as fundraiser for the homeless....awesome job!
