Meals on Wheels

Rotary Club of North Atlanta members, their spouses, children and a prospective member teamed up at Senior Connections in Chamblee, Ga. to prepare meals for Meals on Wheels.

The event was part of the February 14 “Rotary Has a Heart” theme, recognized and commemorated by a proclamation signed by Chamblee Mayor Eric Clarkson. Volunteer coordinator Allie Glass was amazed by the small group’s productivity – they prepared and packaged 900 meals and 150 partial meals, saving $265 in wages that Senior Connections didn’t have to spend.
