Our Mission: Humanitarian service about self.

Our Vision: To have a dynamic, fun, and active membership exemplifying the ideals of Rotary International by making a real difference in our local and global community through the Five Avenues of Service based on the Vibrant Club Plan.

Our Core Values: Active engagement, relevance, heart centred, ethical, team-focused, supportive, five and inclusiveness.

The Rotary Club of Burnaby Metrotown is made up of women and men who live or work in the City of Burnaby. We meets every Wednesday from 12:15pm to 1:30pm for lunch, fellowship and to organize community projects. We are a dynamic group of Rotary volunteers initiating and supporting local community, international and youth programs in a fun atmosphere. Through the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, we also participate in projects to improving the world community and promote world peace.
Our members are mostly actively working in a variety of businesses or organizations and some are retired, all united in humanitarian service to do more good in our world. Our signature annual service programs Rotary Coats for Kids ensures kids and youth are kept warm in the winter and Rotary Rollers Graffiti Paint-outs in partnership with the City of Burnaby, paints over graffiti. Our annual Rotary Wine, Food & Music Festival, Burnaby's premier wine and food sampling fund raiser with the Simon Fraser University Concert Orchestra providing musical entertainment has funded charitable causes including St. Michael's Centre Healing Garden, South Burnaby Neighbourhood House capital building campaign, Kwakiutl First Nations Fort Rupert Library, Rotary's Literacy in Schools program-CALS/Academy of Reading, Down Syndrome, Rotary's Worldwide Polio eradication, Literacy in South Africa, and Music Studio for youths at risk in South Africa.
If you want to do more good in our local and international communities and any of the above spark your interest, we invite you to visit us and consider active membership with a group of fun volunteers in our Rotary club of Burnaby Metrotown. Email the president or burnabymetrotownrotary@gmail.com and your first lunch is on us. Looking forward to meeting you.
