Andy Parrish and Elissa from APTIV announced the winners of the 2020 Miss RemarkAble program! Our Club has been a sponsor of the event for the past 3 years. The pandemic has uprooted the routine and structure that many people with disabilities rely on, so APTIV's decision to restructure the competetion in a virtual format was really important to all involved. There were 3 winners this year, and they are (drum roll, please...)
Amanda Heard, Miss Cheerful
Eve Terwillinger, Miss Kind Hearted
and Miss RemarkAble for 2020 is Sierra LaBrie from Whitewater! Sierra is a senior at Lakeland School whose favorite things to do are study math and English, hang out with friends, listen to music and draw. She is on the Special Olympics team at Lakeland and plays soccer, gymnastics, swimming, track & field and volleyball. Sierra has 4 sisters, 2 dogs, and loves Italian food! She hopes to make her great grandparents proud and to show her leadership skills.

We hope to have her attend a meeting in the future when we can all safely gather together. In the meantime, watch the Zoom recording and you'll see her reaction to the announcement. Congratulations, Sierra!
