Todays Meeting

- The 50/50 raffle was won today by Gary Smith. (lucky) Frank Scott won the $100 Calendar raffle. Next week is the final drawing for $1000.
-  If you can stay after the meeting for a few minutes to help clean the tables, please let Mandy know.
- A big thank you to Mick and Jane Gilbertson for hosting the wine exchange party on Sunday. A few pictures are attached here, including a pensive Randy deciding whose bottle he would "steal", and a selfie taken by Mick from on high pf the 25 or so attendees. It was a wonderful gathering! Thanks to Danielle for getting it organized with Mick!
- Rick said there are still a few opportunities to volunteer at the light show- the sign up has quite a few parking lot attendant slots still open, if that interests you. He also reminded us that a Membership to the Gardens makes a wonderful gift for the holidays and has year long opportunities to experience the beauty of RBG and have reciprocal privileges at gardens all around our Country, among other benefits. You can get information on the Membership levels at : https://rotarybotanicalgardens.org/support/membership/
- Our 2022-2023 elections are being held NEXT week and we still need to fill 2 of the Board seats. Please reach out to anyone on the Board and find out more and see if this opportunity to serve our Club is a good fit for you. It's not a huge time commitment. We need a full slate of Officers AND Directors for next year, which starts in July. Ballots will be sent out this week for voting on Monday 12.19.

Doug Welch shared a wealth of history on Milton and Milton College today. Doug is the Author of 4 books, serves on the Milton College Preservation Society, and is described by Dave as the 'resident history archivist' of Milton. His pictures and knowledge of the history is fascinating. Listen in and you will learn a LOT, I promise!
