Dave A shared his pictures and memories of the Bisentik #2 Well trip. Dave A, Dave W, Denise and Dan traveled to Haiti from 2.20 to 2.28 to dedicate the Ted Walton Well we funded in partnership with Haiti Outreach. Since it's inception 20 years ago, Haiti Outreach (Dale & Neal) have built 462 wells that deliver life sustaining water to over 125,000 people. Dave showed us the topography of the central plateau region of Haiti, including one powerful image from the airplane of a huge area deforested for coal use. He showed us images of the irrigation system that was put in Pignon and now needs repair, the river used by all and the sanitation problems caused by that, the Orphanage they visited (40 children) and medical clinic where we donated supplies, shared pictures of a trek to the Citadelle Fort built in 1804 to protect the Haitians from the French, and the joyous celebration as the Well was dedicated and opened.  The Bisentik community waited 10 years for this Well. It will make a world of difference in their daily lives.
