  • We made it through the longest April in history, and hello to May! Our RI theme Rotary Connects the World has never been more true. Scroll down to the RI article feed below the Newsletter if you want to read some good news about Rotary.
  • Check out our District 6250 website for news about our upcoming virtual District Meeting.
  • If you haven't started joining our GoTo Meetings on Monday, I strongly encourage you to. It is comforting and familiar to see and hear from our Members. Wearing really interesting head wear...Our guest on 5.11 will be a Peace Fellowship Scholar, My Story of Survival.
  • Crop report straight from the tractor in a 125 acre field: The soil temperature is @ 47 this week- the rain and warm weekend (heat units) helped but he isn't seeing growth when he digs up a seedling to check. Because for Corn plants to grow the temperature has to be...did everyone think 50? About 27% of our nations Corn crop has been planted. "Things are good".
  • With some family help, Patty painted a Janesville Noon Rotary heart sign that is planted on the RCHS campus facing Mercy Health Care, thanking the workers. If you drive by, take a picture so we can post it on our FB page.
  • Speaking of Face Book, we know these are trying times and our focus and attention is wherever we need it to be to get through this time. But please remember to check in to our FB page occasionally, see what good news we've been sharing, and give it a like and a comment and share it with your friends if you're moved to do so. It's one way to stay connected in a disconnected time.
  • As always email or call Mandy or Randy if you have a joy or concern to share.
Our Exchange Student Petter was unable to join us today but did send this video for us all to enjoy.
