Todays Meeting
- Happy birthday to Lonnie on 2.10 and Linda on 2.14! Happy Valentine's Day to the rest of us-
- Bob Kimball, a Noon Rotarian for 44 years, passed away early Monday in Florida from complications after a fall. Dave talked about how instrumental he was in keeping our Corn Roast fundraiser functional and the many, many ways Bob impacted both our Club and our Community. If you would like to send condolences to Nancy, the address is 1108 West Marine Way. Apt. B1R. North Palm Beach, FL  33408. We have lost a dear friend. Please keep his family in your thoughts.
- SAVE THE DATE: District 6250 will be held April 18-24. District Conferences are an excellent way to learn more about Rotary and get an infusion of passion for all that we accomplish. If you haven't attended before, I highly recommend making time for this virtual conference. Sign up and save the dates.
- We heard from these Students of the Month today: Autum Tullar (Craig) and Sam O'Leary (Parker). Congratulations to these accomplished students- watch them speak in the Zoom video.
- Remember to tell people you know that our Community Grants application period ends on 2.28. Application is on our website home page. When Grants are awarded in March, we'll be past the worst of deep winter (hopefully!) and your spirits will be lifted by the good news of our support in our communities.
- Our Board is doing strategic planning for our Club on 2.20. Please look for and respond to questions about the future of Janesville Noon Rotary. All our collective voices and vision will guide our Club as we emerge from this pandemic and grow our future.
- If you'd like to volunteer and help the Milton Pantry for a few hours on 2.27 at 9AM, call Randy and let him know.

Macy McBeth-Ryan talked to us today about the progress and future of the Children's Museum of Rock County. It has a mission to spark the joy of learning through play- studies have shown that unstructured play enriches mental and emotional health and learning, and the Museum will provide a vibrant environment for learning through play. It will benefit our economic health and be a symbol of our community values. Do read the newsletter you were emailed prior to the meeting, or visit  the website kidsatplayrc.com and Face Book page to stay informed of progress. The current outreach campaign Rock the Solar System, continues through the month and there are a wealth of explorative activities around town- check that out as well!
