Red Badge reboot
"I was just trying to run my business. I looked downstairs and there was that lady again, for the 3rd year in a row." Dave Warren talked about how and why he joined Noon Rotary and the global impact it has had on his life for the last 23 years. He encourages you to be active in our Club's activities and say YES to opportunities to get the most out of your Rotary experience. Hear from him directly in our Zoom recording.
Todays Meeting
- Happy birthday this week to Eric Hesser on 2.20 and Frank Scott on 2.22.
- We had a special guest today from the Edgerton Rotary Club. Mark Augsberger, CEO at Edgerton Hospital, is District 6260's new Assistant District Governor and plans to attend our meeting quarterly as he learns more about our District Clubs. Give him a warm welcome next time he comes round.
- Rosie celebrated her 18th birthday recently- wish her a happy birthday next time you see her!
- Today we heard from Claire Riley from Craig HS, and Carson Purdy-Hilts from Parker. Learn more about these accomplished students in the Zoom recording.
- Don't forget that tomorrow 2-21 is a Spring Election and we all need to get out and VOTE! For more information: https://www.co.rock.wi.us/departments/county-clerk/election-information. Lisa also shared that her LDA group is partnering with ECHO on their project and she encourages us to learn more about how we can support ECHO and the LDA project.
- Next Supper Club Fellowship is coming up on March 1st, at 6:15 PM at the 615 Club, which is located at 615 Broad Street in Beloit. Contact Dave Warren and let him know if you're going to join in the fun!
- RYLA happens this year May  12-14th. To learn more about this inspirational program, go to https://rotary6250.org/page/ryla. You can get involved by filling out a volunteer application, and drivers are always needed. Our Club sponsors 4 students. Gayle Lunder can answers any questions you have.
- You should have received several emails from District 6250 about the TriCon coming up in LaCrosse in April. Early registration discount of $25 expires at the end of this month, so sign up now and set that weekend aside to immerse yourself in all things Rotary! See banner below for registration link.
- Our Community Grants application period runs until the end of February. This year we will award 6 $1000 grants to area projects, chosen from the pool of applications by a volunteer committee. Help spread the word in our community by sharing the FaceBook post or notifying organizations you're familiar with.
- Our Club gives our High School scholarships in the Spring. Let Derek know if you'd like to help with the interview process, or even lead the process, let him know. More details will be forthcoming.
- SOM Claire won the 50/50 raffle.
- If you're interested in doing the invocation OR are able to stay after the meeting to help with a quick clean up, let Mandy Witt know.  She is also looking for members to host Students of the Month. Ask her how you can help. Thanks to Mandy for handling these tasks!
