Joe Balles lit a candle and led the club in a moment of remembrance for the four police officers that lost their lives in the line of duty this year. Joe introduced former colleagues of the Madison Police Department - Liz Merfeld, Project Coordinator for the Community Oriented Policing Services and Shannon Blackamore, Captain of Community Outreach. Joe, Liz and Shannon shared with the club the new initiative to build trust and legitimacy through community policing advisory boards.
