Classification Talks

 

There’s nothing like new members to boost the club’s vitality. Both John Cobb and Ahleea Zama bring great enthusiasm and plenty of smiles to help make Madison South an even better service organization.

 

John is a Madison native who started his career as a glass blower. Although he enjoyed it, he quickly realized it didn’t pay the bills. He’s currently the Associate Director of Retail Operations for St. Vincent DePaul. In his spare time, he loves hiking, Memorial Union, Picnic Point and sharing adventures with his wife and kids. Incredibly, John already has visited all of Wisconsin’s State Parks!

 

Ahleea has lived all over the country, including Ohio, Pennsylvania, California and of course, here in Madison. She’s even lived in Spain.

 

The daughter of a physician, she says her dad accurately diagnosed a thyroid condition and saved her life!

 

She’s studied theatre, but claims to be an introvert. She prefers being behind the scenes.

 

Currently, Ahleea is Development Director for the Madison Youth Arts Center.
 

When she kicks back, she’s teaches yoga classes, as she is certified to do so. She even offered to lead classes for the club. Creative writing is also one of her passions.
