Some maintenance of the grounds of the Silverdale Christmas Tree has been done, and on October 16 Rotarians Rich Arper and Scott Slocum (pictured below, left and right) turned the 128 ft tree on and did an initial assessment of the lights.   Biggest surprise:  the wind has turned the star 180 degrees!  There are a couple other issues with light strings, but we should be able to sort them out with a work party.  Now we are coordinating schedule with the volunteer tree climber/arborist. Stay tuned for the date for the work party to maintain the lights.
