On February 9, eight students from Central Kitsap High School, Klahowya Secondary School, and Crosspoint Academy were honored at Silverdale Rotary's weekly luncheon for their academic, personal and extracurricular efforts.

After a brief introduction from school staff, we heard from these outstanding students as they told us about current activities and future plans.  Some highlights:
 
Bethany Lunden – Active in student government
William Matney – Active in choir and drama, volunteers at Humane Society
Sarah Devine – Appalachian Mountains service trip, will go again this year
Chris Van Ye – Appalachian Mountains service trip
Kendall Massey – Rotary sent her to France, serves on ASB
Samantha Miller – UW or MIT to either be a software developer or teacher
Rhys Miller – Interested in engineering, on the Robotics team, headed to UW
Roque Blas – Headed to UW
