Rotarian Ron Templeton introduced Students of the Month from for the period January-June.   Each student in attendance told a little about themselves. Congratulations to our future leaders!
 
 
Central Kitsap High School
  • Brandon Rodriguez (not present)
  • Raichel Portis (not present)
  • Collin Smith (not present)
  • Molly Fischer – Molly enjoys running and is the ASB Treasurer. She plans to go on a mission with her church and to attend Utah State for an International Business Management degree.
  • Teagan Taafe - Teagan is the lead in school plays, has a leadership in his role with the year book, and he wants to teach 1st to 3rd graders.
  • Grace Chung - Grace contributes to the CK community, one example is the fund raiser that she coordinated as ASB President. They collected over $400 to help Hurricane victims. She helps Stand Up for Kids and will be attending UW in the fall.
Klahowya Secondary School
  • Robert Clifton (not present)
  • Sarah Slane - In 7th grade her teacher put her as the sound engineer for their plays, and now she has overcome her fear of public speaking.  She has been the secretary of ASB for 2 years, volunteers at the Humane Society and wants to join the Air Force for 4 years.
  • Desiree Watts - Desiree learns from mistakes, pays it forward, and enjoys helping others.  She works with the Central Kitsap Foodbank and is going to OC this fall. She wants to transfer to Oklahoma Christian University and go on to work with terminally ill.
  • Karli Eberhard – Karli is committed to our community. She is going to start at OC then transfer to UW to be a mechanical engineer. She wants to work in the engineering department at PSNS.  She plays basketball and fast pitch softball. Karli has worked with SWAT (Students with a Testimony) at her church for the last 3 years.
