Thanks to Rotarians and videographers Rick Soper and Steven Boe who produced this video.

On March 22, an army of Silverdale Rotarians and volunteers tackled one of societies great needs: hunger. The energized group put together 311 bags of food and toiletries for children in the local area who may not have a meal over the upcoming spring break. With Rotarian Christie Scheffer at the helm, everyone quickly and decisively filled the bags, loaded 18 vehicles, and drivers delivered the bags to 19 CKSD schools.
Thanks to our partners Fred Meyer, Clear Creek Dentistry, and Best Western Plus for donating bags, toothbrushes, and toiletries, respectively.  Special thanks goes to the Kitsap Mall, for providing the staging space, and the Mall’s security team members who spent several hours helping put food out, breaking down boxes, and offering any kind of help needed with positive attitudes and smiles!
And thanks to sponsors, runners, and walkers at the the 2017 Silverdale Rotary Turkey Trot, as the proceeds funded this project.
