One of Rotary's areas of focus is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy. We support education for all children and literacy for children and adults.
 
How can we make this happen?  We are holding a elementary-age book drive for the next two meeting dates (Sep 6, Sep 13)
 
All Rotarians - please bring in at least two books to donate to local schools!  Rotarian and Kitsap Regional Library Branch Manager, Ashley Oaksmith has offered the following suggestions for grades 1-5:
