On January 26 April Ihde and Mindy Wbitney from CKHS PTSA were on hand to accept another $500 Duck Buck grant for CKHS 2017 Grad Night from Rotary President Elect Kim Peterson.  The event, which is held at Naval Base Kitsap, is an all night event that features dinner, dancing, bowling, swimming, entertainment, and prizes to keep kids sober and safe, while letting them have a whole bunch of fun.  Our grant will go towards helping disadvantaged kids be able to afford the registration costs.

The CKHS PTSA provides volunteers every year to help tag ducks and then wash ducks on Race Day.  Silverdale Rotary, in turn, donates a total of $1,000 to Grad Night.  It’s win-win!
