On February 23, our Rotary Club awarded Kitsap County Parks Department with a grant of $3,000 in Duck Bucks for AED's (Automated External Defibrillators) that will be placed around the Kitsap County Fairgrounds.

This is unusually large grant of Duck Bucks, which recognizes Silverdale Rotary’s commitment to the community, and in this case Public Safety.  Thanks to the huge support of sponsors and the community purchasing tickets for the 2016 Silverdale Rotary Duck Race, this grant was possible.

Our Duck Race Motto is “Adopting Ducks Changes Lives,” but in this case it might very well mean “Adopting Ducks Saves Lives!”
