Silverdale Rotary awarded $1,000 in Duck Bucks to the local Silverdale newlife event “Night to Shine” on February 7, 2020.  There were more than 500 attendees and 700 volunteers. This was the 5th year for the special needs prom. Photo below is from 2019.
Night to Shine is a prom for people ages 14 and older who have special needs, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and hosted by newlife.  Every guest of Night to Shine enters their prom on a red carpet complete with welcoming friendly paparazzi.  Once inside, guests receive VIP treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, corsages and boutonnieres, a karaoke room and dancing! The highlight of the night comes when every Night to Shine guest is crowned as a king or queen of the prom.
