Silverdale Rotarians had the joyful opportunity to meet in person the top prize winners of the 2017 Duck Race held on July 30, 2017.  They came to our Rotary meeting on August 10 to accept their prizes.

The Grand Prize winner of the Advantage Nissan Frontier Pickup, Terri Callentine (pictured below), is a secretary at Olympic High School.  She bought one duck from me at Whaling Days on Friday night.
She spent the weekend debating with her family about whether they should take the cash or the truck.  They decided it didn't matter because she wouldn't win!  But win, she did!  She chose the truck and then upgraded it at Advantage Nissan.  She is the first winner to show up at Duck Central on Race Day after being notified.  She continues to be excited and said she will buy ducks in the future.  Congratulations, Terri!

The Holland America Cruise was won by Mike Blakely, and his friend Suzette Wright (pictured below) attended in Mike's place.  Suzette said she had always wanted to go on a cruise, and this would make her dreams come true!

Lee Ann Hicks, pictured below on left with Rotarian Erin Leedham, picked up the gorgeous diamond pendant donated by Ben Bridge.

Karla Polillo, won the $1,000 cash prize from Kitsap Credit Union.  Karla and her husband are building a house, so the timing of the prize could not be better!

The Quality Heating Electrical and AC winner Wendy Leng (pictured below with Rotarian Scott Park, co-owner of the company) chose the $650 cash because she had a new heating system installed recently.
