Do you have a stash of hotel soaps, shampoo, body washes?  The Community Service Committee (CSC) is looking for donations in the month of September to restock the CKSD Comfort Closet to provide personal hygiene and other items for homeless students  Services for Homeless Students - Central Kitsap Schools (, which are defined as:
  • Youth sharing housing due to loss of housing, economic hardship or a similar reason
  • Youth living in motels, hotels or campgrounds
  • Youth living in emergency or transitional shelters
  • Youth abandoned in hospitals
  • Youth whose primary nighttime residence is not ordinarily used as a sleeping place (e.g. park benches, etc.)
  • Youth living in cars, parks, public spaces, abandoned buildings, substandard housing, buses or train stations
