We had a successful club service project on Saturday, April 17th--thank you to everyone who pitched in!
Thank you for everyone who participated in our April service project to clean up Freeport!  We had excellent weather and collected a LOT of trash along Rt. 75!  In all, we found 4 tires, quite a few car parts, lots of plastic, pounds of broken glass/glass bottles, and bags of trash.  A big thanks to our Community Service Chair, Brendan Dutmer, for facilitating this event, and to Rob Boyer, club member and Director of Public Works, for arranging the dump truck!  Our brave volunteers on Saturday included Brendan Dutmer, students from the Interact club, George & Kimella Walker, and Dan, Sally, Katie & Rebecca Noble.  Tonya Thayer & Kate Boyer couldn't make the event, but instead collected trash on an alternate day--thank you!
