ASR Rotary Holds Installation, Presents Scholarships

Pictured above are Omar Niebles, president-elect, Allendale/Saddle River Rotary Club, Bonnie Sirower, district governor of Rotary District 7490; Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan; Joseph Chinnici, president Allendale/Saddle River Rotary Club, Nicoletta Lisella, past president; and Robert Klingen, immediate past president.  Above right: Grace Eisner (third from left) has been inducted as the club’s newest member.  She was congratulated by Robert Traitz, founding president; Bonnie Sirower, district governor; and Joseph Chinnici, president.  At left: Club members present $1,000 scholarships to Ashley Pagano and Lucia Gonzalez (third and fourth from left, respectively).  The schlorahips included proceeds from the club’s first Wine Tasting, which was held last year.  The club’s Scholarship Committee worked hard to figure out the two most deserving students.  Students who were eligible to apply for the scholarship had to reside in Allendale, Saddle River, or Upper Saddle River.  Pagano and Gonzalez are pictured with Scholarship Committee members Omar Niebles, Bob Klingen, Judy Troiano, June Stahl, and Dave Brown.
