Allendale Saddle River Rotary Club At their 4th Installation dinner, the Allendale Saddle River Rotary Club observed incoming Rotary International President Sakuji Tanaka's theme Peace Through Service while installing their own 2012 - 2013 President Joe Chinnici. Ironically, with the Rotary year starting the 1st of July, President Chinnici's first official meeting of the Rotary year will be cancelled. Clubs in America do not meet on the 4th of July and his club meets on Wednesdays at Savini in Allendale.

Master of Ceremonies Bob Traitz, the charter President, introduced Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan who presented outgoing President Bob Klingen with a Commendation for a job well done. Expecting a conference call, Kathe could not stay for the entire ceremony, but her presence was a plus. Bob traced the history of the young club and their initial problems of finding a meeting place they could call home. He also mentioned many of the club's accomplishments and passed around a picture of one of their members who had stood outside of the Rotary International building in Evanston, Illinois.

Incoming District 7490 Governor Bonnie Sirower was present at the Mezza Luna to uninstall the 2011 - 2012 officers and to install the 2012 - 2013 officers and the Board of Directors. With her signature lighting of candles and having each person installed with pins put on by their better halves, the incoming District Governor made each person feel special.

Four members of the Paramus Sunrise Rotary Club attended to honor Chinnici, a Rotarian who has attended many of their functions.
