Thanks to social committee and Dr. Bill Orr for all the help with Bob Logsdon Day!!! Everyone commented on how well it went and I think even Bob enjoyed the meeting.
This week, we are going to hear from Rabbi Hillel Cohn. Unfortunately, I will be in Sacramento for a Charter School Conference so Ed Ritter will be large and in charge.
I also want to thank Mike McCue for all of his efforts regarding Houston and reminding everyone of our social gathering for September 14, 2017. We will be at Arrowhead Country Club and all the San Bernardino clubs have been invited. Sergio said he was going to take good care of us. So looking forward to a great evening, good food, and even better football!!!
IMPORTANT DATE: On Thursday, September 14, 2017, we will have a Social Event at the Arrowhead Country Club beginning at 5:30 pm. It is $15.00 per person which will cover the cost of appetizers, and one drink (beer or wine). $5.00 of the admission will go to a local Houston Rotary Club to support the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Come out, cheer for Houston as they play the Bengals, and help support people who need our help! Thanks to Mike McCue for All of his efforts, we have already raised over $2,000.00 for victims in Houston!!!

RI President Ian H.S. Riseley chose Rotary: Making A Difference as his theme for 2017-18. There are as many reasons to come to Rotary as there are Rotarians – maybe even a few more. But each of us has stayed in Rotary because it adds something to our own lives. Through Rotary, we are Making a Difference in the world; and the more involved we become, the more of a difference Rotary makes to each of us. Rotary challenges us to become better people: to become ambitious in the ways that matter, to strive for higher goals, and to incorporate Service Above Self into our daily lives. ”
DISTRICT 5330 GOVERNOR
Manzoor Massey
My heartfelt gratitude to my District 5330 Rotary family for its trust in me to serve as its Governor! It is an honor and a privilege to serve. With your help, we will build on the good work in progress and take our District to the next level.
With great humility and gratitude I enter my year to serve my Rotary family to the best of my ability. Keep me in your prayers and thank you for your continued service to humanity.
We are Dream Builders born to make a difference. Here is a thought to start each day: "I will not let anyone leave my presence unless they feel better than when they came to see me."
