President’s Message:

Last Week:
Last Week: Dan Flores gave an awesome presentation as both a county staff member and a board member for Colton Unified School District. It is really nice to hear from people that are moving the dials forward for the city and the county especially in areas like Bloomington and Muscoy.

This Week: Both Mike McCue and I will be missing in action. I will be in Chicago and Mike will be in Boston. I am at an education conference based on teacher improvement, Mike will be advising Bill Belichek on last minute prep for training camp and watching the Red Sox play. Tracy Sweeney is on slate to speak. I haven’t a clue what she will be talking about. That is the truth and sometimes the truth hurts! Enjoy your lunch.

YES, THIS IS THE FINAL EDITION OF THE ORANGE PEAL BY CHRIS TICKELL. PERIOD. YEP FOLKS, THAT’S IT! REALLY. IT IS THE TRUTH THIS TIME.

ROTARY
INTERNATIONAL
RI President Ian H.S. Riseley chose Rotary: Making A Difference as his theme for 2017-18. There are as many reasons to come to Rotary as there are Rotarians – maybe even a few more. But each of us has stayed in Rotary because it adds something to our own lives. Through Rotary, we are Making a Difference in the world; and the more involved we become, the more of a difference Rotary makes to each of us. Rotary challenges us to become better people: to become ambitious in the ways that matter, to strive for higher goals, and to incorporate Service Above Self into our daily lives. ”

DISTRICT 5330 GOVERNOR
Manzoor Massey
My heartfelt gratitude to my District 5330 Rotary family for its trust in me to serve as its Governor! It is an honor and a privilege to serve. With your help, we will build on the good work in progress and take our District to the next level.

With great humility and gratitude I enter my year to serve my Rotary family to the best of my ability. Keep me in your prayers and thank you for your continued service to humanity.

We are Dream Builders born to make a difference. Here is a thought to start each day: "I will not let anyone leave my presence unless they feel better than when they came to see me."
