ZOOM MEETING : Two Sides : the sustainability of paper bags

"Will that be paper or plastic?"

We'll hear about the sustainabiliity of paper bags as a viable alternative to single-use plastic bags. Everyone recognizes the campaigns to recycle paper and paper products. Phil will share some of the sustainable forestry practices in the pulp & paper industry that reduce the environmental footprint of logging. Phil will introduce the concept of greenwashing and share some examples. Sustainable forestry practices can also be used for carbon capture or to provide offsets in carbon-trading markets.
