The Taste of Hood Canal is an event that is looked forward to by local and non-local attendees alike .  The 2019 event, it is being held on August 10th at the Belfair State Park
This event is our clubs major fund raiser for the year.  The funds we raise go right back into the North Mason community. Some of the things we give money to are:
Scholarships for 3 to 4 NMHS students each year, the Boys and Girls Club, the Food Bank, the Food Pantry, Backpack for Kids program, Kindles for Kids program, Business of the Year, the Allyn Community Association's Memorial Day event, the park at the Theler Center, the park at the Allyn waterfront, literature programs, North Mason Resources,  Faith in Action, Theler Community Clean-Up Day, the annual Easter Egg Drop and several other projects as well.  If you would like more information, please feel free to contact any Rotary member.
At this event there are all sorts of vendors booths, food booths, a Car Show, a beer garden, 2 stages, 1 for live music and the other for other types of talent.  There is a bouncy house for the kids and ponies for them to pet. 
The Taste of Hood Canal opens at 10:00 A.M. and ends at 5:00 P.M. 
There is a $5 entry fee but kids under 12 are free

We are taking vendor and sponsor applications now, but after July 1 there will be a late fee assessed, so get started now.  We look forward to hearing from you.
