On Friday June 10, 25 young women from the Labor Mobilization and Development Foundation (SAO), in the age group of 16 to 24 years, participated in a Girl Empowerment training organized by the Rotary Club of Paramaribo Residence in collaboration with the Perisur Foundation. The training focused on the prevention of teenage pregnancies, but also on achieving a healthy pregnancy and the follow-up. The motivational speaker Margo Kamp led an energetic session after which the participants received a certification for participation.
