Awareness Walk for Autism Antigua

On April 2nd 2016, visiting Fellow Margriet Nouh-Chaia, from the Rotaryclub of Paramaribo Recidence, joined President Jenelle Allen from the Rotary club of Antigua Sundown and other Fellows, Interacters, parents and sympathizers for their annual Autism Awareness Walk.

The 5.75 mile walk started at 5 o'clock in the early morning of Saturday April 2nd with a good warming up from a well known fitness trainer. The Awareness walk for autism was very well organized with police escorts and enough water stations to motivate the enthusiastic walkers to take on the roads on the hills of St. John's in Antigua.  Busses were waiting at the end of the walk (beach) to take the participants back to the starting point after they received a small breakfast and a wider variety of energy drinks.
