This Valentine's Day, we at RCDOB partnered with the organisers of "Tuamke Dar" "We are excited to be building on the momentum we created last year on February 14, 2013.  *Tuamke Dar* (and One Billion Rising) is not an organization, but an event happening simultaneously all over the world on one day, that aims to create an ongoing dialogue in our communities about violence against women and girls.  It is not meant to be a one-off annual event, but to spark a broader conversation about the ubiquitous and ever-present nature that violence has in our lives and in the lives of the women and girls we love. One Billion Rising was founded by V-Day, which is an organization that works on justice for survivors of gender-based violence in many different ways, all over the world," said Jenny Tibrerio, one of the organisers.

Gwynneth Wong of the RCDOB Service Project Committee said, "there were over 100 people who attended the event in total, many in t-shirts!  And I actually saw one of the t-shirts the following day in Kigamboni, so the message continues to spread."

Please have a look at the pictures in the Photo Album as well!
