The East Bremerton Rotary Foundation, a separate entity from The Rotary Foundation (TRF), is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization managed by an independent board of directors. Members in good standing of the Rotary Club of East Bremerton are also members of the East Bremerton Rotary Foundation. The Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, literary, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and in particular to support charitable activities and grants in our community and internationally.

Charitable requests to the Foundation are first reviewed and recommended by the various committees and the board of Our Club. Foundation funding comes from a number of fundraising events open to the public, including an annual Sweetheart Dinner Auction, as well as from income generated by an endowment managed by the Foundation Board and various contributions from individual members. Tax deductible donations from members of our community allow the Foundation to make meaningful contributions to our community and elsewhere in the world.

You can also direct contributions to the Foundation through the Amazon Smiles program at smile.amazon.com.
Shop at smile.amazon.com and they will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to your favorite charitable organization including Our Club's own 501c3 foundation with no fees and no extra cost to you.

Each year large businesses, such as Amazon, participate in philanthropic endeavors as part of their corporate mission.   Amazon claims to have donated over $293 million to non-profit organizations around the world.  This is our opportunity to get back collectively some of the money that we spend individually.
