This coming Monday, September 13th the Kitsap County Commissioners will recognize Jim Aho for his many thousands of volunteer hours and for sharing his expertise for the benefit of the greater Illahee/East Bremerton community.  Jim has made a tireless focus to Illahee Preserve thru his Herculean effort to initially help make Illahee Preserve a Kitsap County Park, then immerse himself in the on-going maintenance, and most notably to lead the effort to expand from original 352 acres up to current 587 acres.  He also continues to serve as a Port of Illahee Commissioner, long-time member of Salvation Army Board, a long-time member of the Central Kitsap Community Council Board, and member of East Bremerton Rotary.
