The Lakeway/Lake Travis Rotary Club is part of one of the greatest international organizations in the world.

The organization consists of local business leaders working to address various community and international humanitarian projects. The club encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build good will and peace in the world through the Ideal of Service. The club objective is to encourage and foster the Ideal of Service as a basis of worthy enterprise. Rotarians worldwide - live by the same 24-word code of ethics that is reflected in the Rotary 4-Way Test. Adopted by Rotary International in 1943, the 4-Way Test has been translated into more than a hundred languages.

This simple philosophy and code consists of the following:

Of the things we think, say or do:

1. Is it the TRUTH?

2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?

3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

The Lakeway/Lake Travis Rotary Club was chartered in January 1992.  The Club membership includes approximately 50 professionals (both women and men) who practice the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self". Since its creation, the Lakeway/Lake Travis Rotary Club has awarded over 150 scholarships to Lake Travis Independent School District high school students and participated in many charitable events such as:
