Our Rotary Club has adopted a two mile stretch of road on Pace Bend Road in Spicewood to help keep our local Lake Travis roads looking beautiful! We've been a part of the program for many years and pick up litter approximately 4 times a year. The Texas Adopt-a-Highway program began in 1985 and has grown into a nationally and internationally recognized litter-prevention effort, saving taxpayers’ dollars and helping to keep our roads looking beautiful! The Adopt-a-Highway program currently has more than 3,800 participating groups across the state, with thousands of individuals, like our dedicated Rotarians, who dedicate their time to actively making a difference!
