With the help of generous community of Surrey and neighbouring cities, our club did a food drive from October 8th to Oct 11th. On Oct 11th, our club member's set-up a tent at corner of 84th and 128th Street. The club appealed to the public on the local radio station RedFM and with the help of personal efforts made by the members; by calling friends and families for donations. The food items were also donated by the following four businesses:  1. Sun Farms Produce 2. Sabzi Mandi 3. Greenway Supermarket 4. Cloverdale Country Farms.

And big help from Sikh Academy's kids who collectively donated 1900 food items.  As a result, the Rotary Club of Surrey-Newton was able to collect approx.  3 and a 1/2 tonne of quality food.  As well with the help of International Herbs Ltd., collected food was then delivered to the Food Bank of Surrey.

Rotary Club Of Surrey-Newton is very thankful of all the participants.
