The Hope Island Rotary Black Tie Evening is back for its 12th year, an annual highlight on our calendar that combines glamour, community spirit, and life-changing impact.
Each year, our Black Tie Evening raises over $20,000 for vital research and Rotary partner projects. This year, we’re proud to support the Griffith University Institute of Glycomics in their groundbreaking research into malaria prevention.
Malaria still kills more than 600,000 people globally every year, most of them children.
Did you know? Australians are diagnosed with malaria every year after overseas travel, with some cases proving life-threatening. Supporting research here on the Gold Coast means we’re helping to protect families both overseas and at home.
